The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is a major initiative that seeks to create a single market for goods and services across Africa. It was launched on January 1st, 2021, and since then, it has been making significant progress in promoting intra-African trade and economic integration. What is the AfCFTA?

The year 2023 brings with it new challenges for women in Africa. Although progress has been made in recent years, many African women still face significant obstacles that prevent them from reaching their full potential. In this blog, we will discuss some of the challenges that African women may encounter in 2023.

In Africa, where development and growth are often hindered by a lack of infrastructure, effective communication can play an even more critical role in driving progress. African Affairs Communications (AAC) is a specialized field that focuses on communication strategies for organizations and governments operating in Africa.

The youth in Africa make up a significant percentage of the continent's population, and their potential to contribute to the development of their countries and the continent as a whole cannot be overemphasized. With a population of over 1.3 billion people, Africa is home to the world's largest youth population, with approximately 60% of its population under the age of 25.

The first time I had to present my work to Directors of different African Nations was during my internship at the African Union, which was around 2012. Mind you, back then, I already had multiple failed and successful businesses, and so I used to think I knew enough to present a result-based approach. But once I learned the color of my hand was an issue to represent Africa fully, I realized there is a considerable gap between fact and reality. The fact is - I am African. But the reality is that my skin tone does not represent the entire continent.
